Beverly Stephenson, the philanthropist

 

-Founder of Fine Arts Network Theater Company in 1994. Celebrating their 26 year, 17th summer camp, 23rd season with over 120 production.  Beverly has been involved with the local theatrical community since moving to the Temecula Valley in 1980.  She has served on many boards including The Community Foundation, Shakespeare-in-the-Vines, San Diego Ballet Company, Temecula Valley Playhouse, The Murrieta Arts Council. She was a founding member of Temecula Theater Foundation which raised $1,000,000 to help build a local theater. This organization pays and provides for over 4000 students annually to see live performances free of charge and has raised $600,000 to help local non-profit theater companies.

Theater: Beverly did a stint doing dinner theatre, singing telegrams and children entertainment.  She has been an actor, singer, dancer for 35 years and a choreographer, director, costumer and producer for 25 years.

 

Acting:How the Other Half Loves.Plaza Suite, Mixed Doubles, The Unvarnished Truth,Nunsense, Godspell, Jekyll & Hyde, A Chorus Line, Pride and Prejudice, Dangerous Liaisons, Curtains amongst others.  

 

Director:Kiss Me Kate, Grease, Annie, The Wiz, A Chorus Line, George M, West Side Story, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,  Rumors, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown,How to Succeed In Business, Nutcracker the Ballet, Forever Plaid, Othello.

 

Choreographer:A Chorus Line, Annie Get Your Gun, Annie, Oklahoma, George M, Freaky Friday, Matilda, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DREAMCOAT amongst others.

 

Costumer: Extensive work over 30 years. Most recently an original production of Jungle Book.
